* I was the pregnant woman who swore my kid would never use a pacifier...yeah - so that lasted literally until Jenna started crying in the car seat when we were taking her home from the hospital - popped that sucker in and quiet time began!
* I would give women dirty looks who were getting frustrated with their kids' tantrums - umm yeah I get it - my baby's only 13 months and I have been known to get a little frustrated (that's saying it very nicely)
* Playing with the phone, the computer, the cable box - I was so sure I would be able to put my foot down...umm not so much!
* Being a teacher, I was sure that discipline wasn't going to be a problem - I admit I judged other people who couldn't keep a straight face when 'disciplining' their kids...now I sometimes have to turn my head away or walk out of the room so she doesn't see me laughing
How can I not laugh at her standing on her chair?!
I don't know if it's a woman-thing or a mommy-thing or whta - but we're all so quick to judge each other and ourselves and I think it's about time we stop! We should all just agree that we're doing the best we can and that's anyone can ask for!
I love that pic... and the devilish look on her face... i gave you an award. check it out http://baby-to-go.blogspot.com/2010/04/my-first-award.html
