I will no longer judge

Talking with some friends the other day and we were all saying how there's so many things we're doing that we promised ourselves we would NEVER do and actually JUDGED other moms for doing those very things...

* I was the pregnant woman who swore my kid would never use a pacifier...yeah - so that lasted literally until Jenna started crying in the car seat when we were taking her home from the hospital - popped that sucker in and quiet time began!

* I would give women dirty looks who were getting frustrated with their kids' tantrums - umm yeah I get it - my baby's only 13 months and I have been known to get a little frustrated (that's saying it very nicely)

* Playing with the phone, the computer, the cable box - I was so sure I would be able to put my foot down...umm not so much!

* Being a teacher, I was sure that discipline wasn't going to be a problem - I admit I judged other people who couldn't keep a straight face when 'disciplining' their I sometimes have to turn my head away or walk out of the room so she doesn't see me laughing

How can I not laugh at her standing on her chair?!

I don't know if it's a woman-thing or a mommy-thing or whta - but we're all so quick to judge each other and ourselves and I think it's about time we stop! We should all just agree that we're doing the best we can and that's anyone can ask for!
